Presales are a good way to improve engagement to your events and allow your most loyal fans first dibs to tickets for your events. Setting it up is easy, just follow our guide below.

Setting up a presale

  1. Login to your Ticketmeo account and open up the backend.

  2. Go to events and select which event you would like to create a presale for.

  3. Go to access controls. This can be found under Advanced -> Access Control

  4. Select Enable Access Control, enable it and save.

  5. Go back and now select the Display Settings option and select a message such as Fan Presale which will be displayed on the ticket pages and a message which will be shown on the buttons such as Unlock Presale then save.

  6. Go back and now select Email Invites and click Settings and Enable Code Protection. You can also change the message displayed on the code box and the default email sent to attendees with their codes. Save any changes.

You have now successfully setup a presale for your event. To invite the attendees you would like to have access to the presale, go to the Email Invites page and click Invite where you can select which emails you would like to have access to the sale.

To start the presale, turn on sales for your event. To end the presale turn off sales for the event or alternatively turn off the access control (Number 4 above) which will allow all customers access to your tickets.
