Promotional discount codes are a great way to increase sales or hand out rewards for attendees. Discount codes are event-specific and cannot be used for any other event. Only 1 discount code can be used per order.
To create discount codes
Go to the events page and select your event.
In the left-hand menu, click Tickets.
Under Discount codes, click Create discount code.
In the Create discount code dialog box, enter the following information:
Name: A unique name that is used for internal tracking purposes.
Discount code: The code your customers1 will enter to activate the discount.
Discount type & amount: The amount of the discount. You can choose a fixed amount or a percentage discount.
Uses: The number of times the discount code can be used. You can choose unlimited uses or a fixed number of uses.
Start date: The date when the discount code will start being valid.
End date: The date when the discount code will stop being valid.
Click Create code.
Your discount code will now be created and added to your list of discount codes.
Here are some additional tips for creating discount codes:
Make sure your discount code is easy to remember and type.
Use a unique code for each event. This will help you track which discount codes are being used for which events.
Set a limit on the number of uses for each code. This will help prevent one person from using the same code multiple times.
Promote your discount codes to your customers. This will help you get more people to use them and attend your event.
